Home - Journeys - Thailand 2023, November, December - Sunday, November 19, 2023

Dining with family.

Dining with family.

We slept well last night with the family in Lat Krabang.
We get up on time and drink coffee.

We have no plans for today.
It is quiet in the house.
Moue is away with her son Gunn, who has to take an entrance exam for high school.
And Keang is on his way to his parents in Nakhon Sawan.
Only daughter Focus is still there, but she entertains herself with her phone and computer.

Because we heard yesterday that the weather is very bad in the south of Thailand and that we should not go there, we look for another place to go. That bad weather has also been confirmed by some news reports.
Tom would like to go to the sea and after some talking we decide to go to Cha-am again. We haven't been there in two years.
We search on Booking.com to see if ther is still room at the Bann Pantai Resort, a resort we have been to before.
There are still rooms and bungalows available and we are booking a bungalow for 4 nights/5 days, leaving tomorrow Monday, November 20, and returning on Friday, November 24. Maybe we'll drive on to Prachuap Khiri Khan.

Tom wants to eat at Krua Rabiengnam, in the evening, a restaurant we have been to before.
Pia also likes that and immediately asks the entire Thai family to join her.
The restaurant is busy, the service is fast and attentive, and the food tastes good as always.
